2010 is half over....

So here we are in June.  Amazing how time flies!  We get busy with work and life and before we know it, the year is half over! 
Now is a good time to evaluate how you are doing with your 2010 bookkeeping.  Do you have a pile of paperwork still waiting to be organized? 
I find what works best for me - is to enter in my sessions and expenses throughout the day, as they happen.  (It's so easy with Bodywork Buddy massage software!) While my client is getting off the table, I enter in my notes and session details, so that when they come out all relaxed, I am ready to enter their payment into the system.  Seriously, it only takes a minute.  Getting into this habit will save you so much time & energy come tax time/year end.
This is a quote I love - it reminds me to focus:

Small things done consistently and in strategic places produce the greatest results.

I don't recall where I first read this, but it has always stuck with me.  And it's a great philosophy for keeping up on the business end of your massage practice!
